Step 2: After you complete the online course, BFHUA will invoice you $120, which includes your training fee, first-year dues, a safety-green BFHUA umpiring shirt, a whistle, lanyard and penalty cards. When the invoice has been paid proceed to step 3. Step 3: Watch the Pre - recorded video and send an email with the answers to the questions at the end of the video. You will learn what the MIAA is, how BFHUA is run, who the assignors are, how to use the assigning platform “Arbiter” etc. Step 4: Live Online Classes. Register and attend one of the live online classes which will be offered in June, July, and beginning of August. This class will go through the rule book, expectations as a BFHUA umpire and positioning. Attendance is required. Step 5: Sign up on the website to reserve your spot for on field training and evaluation. Step 6: Once field training is complete, you will be added to the assigning platform called “Arbiter” so you can get set up with an assignor and games for the season!
